About BOXOHO

Mürren, in a box — and by mail.

Sandrine in Mürren

Creator

Sandrine

Born in Basel, second home Mürren. Creator and entrepreneur — she hopes her twin boys will love this place as she does.

BOXOHO is made in Mürren: Tiny Art Surprises from the retro machine, and postcards that keep you connected to the most beautiful place in the world. Sandrine creates both — with love for this place, and for the people who carry a piece of it home.

Sandrine’s family are the owners of Chalet Erika, nestled right in the heart of Mürren. If they had a nickel for every photo taken of Mürrmeli, their famous shop window featuring the beloved marmot, they’d be millionaires! Just across the street, the family also owns two-thirds of the historic barn — a unique but traditional ownership structure quite common here in the Berner Oberland.

Together with their friends, Sandrine and her family have woven these two spaces into a seamless, street-spanning experience. Their shared mission? To bring pure joy to Mürren’s visitors, creating unforgettable memories and making every stay truly exceptional.

Mürren

Impressions.

Mürren, 1’650 m, Switzerland

Sitting on the sun terrace, facing the mountain panorama of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, Mürren invites you to take a deep breath and enjoy the gorgeous alpine view. From the beginning, this little village in the Swiss Alps has been known for its pure air, marvelous nature and calm pace.

Actors, artists, writers, hikers, skiers, queens, kings, you and I have visited this magical place below the peaks and above the valley. All of us left with a heart full of unique memories — and a spirit of freedom and joy.
